Plaid Santa Mug Wrap

The whole Farmhouse Christmas theme is my jam this year! I'm especially loving the Buffalo Plaid!

I've made a few pieces featuring plaid: Plaid Santa Bottle Bag and Drink Cozy, Plaid Santa Christmas Stocking, and even the Plaid Pajama Pants Gift Basket. So, why not a plaid freebie?

The Plaid Santa Mug Wrap fits most mugs, even large mouth and novelty shapes!

This fast and simple pattern makes great gifts for teachers, co-workers, and even family! Plus, you can leave off the Santa belt, so it isn't just Christmas themed... you can also use other Buffalo Plaid schemes like Blues, Green, or Neutrals.

  • Attach belt to front center over row 6 (it will slightly overlap rows 5 & 7 also)
  • Attach belt buckle to desire location. My photo represents the belt buckle placed in the center of the plaid portion, which leaves the buckle on the opposite side of the handle. You may want to buckle closer to the handle so it is on the front or back of the mug. TIP: place mug wrap on a mug to best decide your desired placement before attaching.
  • Sew button to center of button edge, over row 26.
  • Hide all strings.
